Medical And Life Sciences:

Impulses: The Company is based in Bangalore. They create e-learning courses and medical simulations.
Requirement: They needed translations for scripts of over 60,000 words in 5 foreign languages viz. Chinese, Japanese, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
Solution: Accumulated all reference materials and created glossaries by employing specialized medical translators.

Education

TCS iON: It is a strategic unit of Tata Consultancy Services focused on Manufacturing Industries (SMB), Educational Institutions and Examination Boards. It is situated in Mumbai.
Requirement: The set question papers have to be translated in to 14 Indian languages with 50,000 words per month.
Solution: The challenge was that, single paper must have questions from various domains like Sciences, Maths, Computers, Mythology, Music, etc. Also the translation has to be done under strict deadline of less than 36 hours and with utmost confidentiality.

Banking And Finance:

Bajaj Finserve: It is a part of Bajaj Holdings & Investments Limited. It is an Indian financial services company focused on lending, asset management, wealth management and insurance, situated in Pune.
Requirement: Forms, mailers, agreements had to be translated in to 13 Indian languages of 50,000 words per month..
Solution: The challenge was that, most of the forms were bilingual and available online. So, we had to engage translators who had knowledge of programming language since the files had to be uploaded online. We also provided them with an exclusive service of HTML file creation.

Media Com:

Paani Foundation (Tata Trust): : Based in Mumbai, it was set up with the aim of making Maharashtra drought-free using the power of communication.
Requirement:To Dub (with lip sync) 26 videos from Marathi to English, Hindi and Tamil.
Solution: The challenge was to find a transcriptor who was proficient in Marathi and Tamil language. Since the final application was an audio visual-length, the sentences had to be tailored by keeping lip sync in mind. Matching the local accent with the target one was also a challenge.
